Someone recently asked me: What do you think you're getting from free/cheap internet that i or most of the people don't know?
Well, it's difficult to answer that since most people are getting the hang of the net already. I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for exactly but here are my favorite or recently discovered sites on the net right now that most might not know about:

- iJigg: something like the two above, but with music
- Micro-blogging (you can post through SMS, too)
- Somewhat Micro-blogging but not quite
- "TV":

- There's also another one but I didn't like it at all
- Intenet TV

- Last.fm: "Scrobble"/Log your music and get music recommendations! You can also listen to streaming audio. You can also post audio samples in your blog or other sites :D

- ShoZu: Post photos, videos, blog entries from your phone!
- Guru.com: Online marketplace for freelance talent
- Ning: Create social networks for anything!

- Google Docs & Spreadsheets (Share, Collaborate on & View documents)
- Google Desktop (search your desktop!)
- Google Pages (Make & publish pages on the net)

- and a lot more, but the others are more common...

- Other document-related or productivity tools
- Zoho: Online Office, word processor, calendar, presentation, etc.
