Tuesday last week, I went to the Philippine International Furniture Show and visited our booth at the PTTC. My parents, sisters and some friends entertained the buyers in the fair. I was just visiting so I had the "guest" ID.
Across our booth was a chair made by the designer Gaetano Pesce. My mom said that this chair was woven using yarn three hours a day by Gaetano Pesce himself! How many days, I kept forgetting to ask x.x It was air freighted (is that a word?) here to the Philippines and there it stood in the design-oriented section of the trade show.
I wasn't able to touch it myself, unlike my mom. Nobody was allowed to sit on it but they said that the yarn was supposed to follow the contours of your back and butt making the sitting experience quite comfortable.
Aside from that, I took some pictures from our exhibit itself. For fear designs being copied (yes, it happens a lot), I'll just post some shots that are "artistic" yet don't reveal much :P
Aside from that, I had some fun with my new camera :D

Hahaha, our dog Rusty (a Lab Retriever + some other breed) surprised us today. Our dog learned a new "trick." I don't know if he's just smart or if he learned it by himself. Before, he knew where to get hist toys but never put them back.  Today, he put them back on the shelf!!! Cool.
